Undelete: Restore Deleted Issues for Jira ("the app") is published by Optexia, France ("we"), optexia.com.
What the app processes
To make deleted issues restorable, the app stores snapshots of the Jira issues of the site it is installed on: field values (including user account ids and display names), comments and their authors, issue link references and attachment file names. It also records who deleted an issue and when.
Where it is stored
Exclusively in Atlassian Forge hosted storage attached to the customer's Jira site. The app runs entirely on Atlassian infrastructure ("Runs on Atlassian"): no data is transferred to servers operated by us or by third parties, and data residency follows the customer's Jira site.
Who can access it
Jira administrators of the site, and project administrators for their own projects when allowed by a Jira administrator. We, the vendor, have no access to customer data.
Retention
Snapshots of deleted issues are permanently deleted after the retention period configured by the customer (7 to 365 days, 90 by default). Snapshots of existing issues are kept while the app is installed. Uninstalling the app causes Atlassian to delete all of its stored data.
Closed Atlassian accounts
The app reports the Atlassian accounts it stores to Atlassian every week (Personal Data Reporting API). When Atlassian reports an account as closed, the app erases that person's data from every snapshot and record: account id, name and other profile attributes are replaced by "Former user".
Roles
The customer is the data controller. Atlassian acts as processor for the Forge platform. The app does not collect analytics or telemetry.
